Mother’s Day Wish List 2017

  • I absolutely love good lounge wear and this Olivia von Halle Capability Mona dressing gown is gorgeous. I’m really falling in love with her pajama designs and this dressing gown is a work of art. Yes it’s covered in zebras and 100% silk, £965 NET-A-PORTER.COM
  • Ah the matching Olivia von Halle zebra pajamas! I love short versions of the classic placket front pajamas regardless of the season and these are silk which will keep you cool during Summer months (who are we kidding in London though, tbf). They’re pricey but soooo worth it, £300 NET-A-PORTER.COM
  • You all know I’m a sucker for a good candle and anything Bella Freud, so this “J’Taime Jane” Tiger Lily perfumed black candle has my name all over it, £39 NET-A-PORTER.COM
  • To all the mothers out there, the day when you no longer need to carry around baby things, then you no longer need to carry around a spare set of clothes and other bulky bits and bobs. THIS is the day you 1) do a little dance and 2) treat yourself to a nice bag that can carry your OWN things quite nicely. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t take this bag with us to the zoo, but I can see me and this tote going out to lunch somewhere nice (considering we no longer require a high chair), £3,005 NET-A-PORTER.COM
  • My husband bought me the lovely floral Ted Baker suitcase last Mother’s Day and as my skincare and make-up collection is now insane it all deserves needs it’s own luggage, no risk of spillages onto clothes and shoes that way. This floral Ted Baker case is perfect. £125 AMARA.COM
  • Embroidery is still everywhere this Spring and this Gucci hooded sweatshirt is the perfect transitional piece. I quite like the fact that it doesn’t have the logo emblazoned across it which makes a change this season. Despite the fact that a sweatshirt featuring a tiger is on my Mother’s Day wishlist, I am not a Tiger Mom I swear £2,420
  • This jacket is a gorgeous deconstructed take on the classic wardrobe staple, you’ll have it forever, need I say more, 3 1 Phillip Lim £395 SSENSE.COM
  • They may be on a wishlist, but I’ve totally just ordered these Andrea Tortoiseshell D-Frame sunglasses from Celine. I have a hen weekend coming up in a few weeks and these are going to be much needed to hide evidence of the morning after the night before, £280 HARVEYNICHOLS.COM
  • Whilst you won’t catch me at the gym in this, this is definitely something I’d wear to a ballet, barre or Bikram class. For those small-bossomed and not requiring too much support *ahem*, We Are Handsome crop top, £23 BRANDOUTLET.BORDERFREE.COM
  • You can never have enough work out gear (although tell that to my wardrobe, when I’m trying to shove another pair of leggings in) I’m not one for wacky prints so these subtle Adidas TKO leggings with detail on the knees are well suited, £50 ACTIVEINSTYLE.COM
  • I am in love with anything Susan O’Hanlon at the moment, such pretty captions on cards and mugs. I think every mother should own this “Mother Superior” mug to drink your (probably cold!) tea or coffee out of, they go fast so be warned, £13.00 JOHNLEWIS.COM
  • If you don’t own a brooch collection are you even a grown-up? This is the question I’ve asked myself recently, I rediscovered my brooch collection a little while ago and these are so underrated as an accessory. This one from Orla Kiely wouldn’t be out of place on any of my blazers for work or even at the weekend, I love it, £89 AMARA.COM
  • Sometimes a girl’s just got to treat herself to the little luxuries in life. This Bodyism printed metallic yoga mat will make my savasana (corpse pose) at the end of a tough class all the better in my opinion, £75 NET-A-PORTER.COM
  • Whilst I don’t consider myself a ‘proper’ runner, I do not mind going for a short (but relatively quick) run every now and agan, especially when the clocks go forwards and it’s nice and light in the evening. My current running trainers are bright pink so I think I need some nice grown up ones and these Adidas Ultra Boost Black Trainers are just the thing, £130 ACTIVEINSTYLE.COM

In reality, I will probably end up with some flowers and some chocs that my daughter will probably eat herself. But in all honesty, all I really want is a home made card and a big kiss from my baby. But I can dream anyway.
